The site devoted to helping create guided presentations is shutting down on 30-June-2009: Flowgram said in email to users that it couldn't figure out a financial model to continue. While Flowgram presentations won't be playable after 30-June or editable, they can be exported as videos. The company provided instructions: "...You can export them to video by clicking 'share' from the website or 'more sharing options' from the Flowgram player and scrolling down to the export to video section."

Online database application host Coghead plans shutdown: The firm, which made it relatively simple to build complex applications that they hosted, will cease hosting on 30 April 2009. Coghead was looking for buyers, and found none. Several firms (noted in the linked article) are offering conversion help to their platforms, with some throwing in short-term free hosting.

Yahoo pulls plug on the world's largest collection of Webcam feeds: I can't tell whether Yahoo Live offers much more than a great interface through which to push out one's Webcam feed (which seems so 1999, anyway), but Yahoo Live will be dead on 3-December-2008. As a streaming, rather than hosting service, you'll have to find another port to plug into.
